Any guidance still citing NFPA 652 or 654 as current is referencing a superseded document.

The legacy standard language named ledges, beams, ducts, pipes, hoods, and spaces above suspended ceilings as the surfaces where accumulation must be controlled. That is the high dusting scope, written into a fire standard.
